The thing is, it depends on the game. Dishonored I liked Stealth, low violence. Something like UT2004 is run and gun.

Sometimes I just want to have mindless violence.

Here somebody wrote a bot that can play Super Mario World using neural networks and genetic algorithms.

So... only a quarter of the interviewees are female and most are presumably North American. There's really not enough data to make inferences.

Also I'm not sure if the study takes in account the physical consequences of aging. I'm not old, but sometime in my twenties I discovered I didn't really have the reflexes needed to play fast paced shooters anymore.

So I play like a girl..........
