Come to think of it, didn't NFY send sample flavour to at least one of us for proofreading? Did that include enough so that someone could stand in as mod for Day 1 or so and then hand back modding duties upon NFY's reappearance?

I will prod her over facebook and just find out what's what. I think I know why she's busy though so I'm not sure if she'll have time to do the game now.

My game is (basically) ready. The question is : is it better to play both games in parallel, or to wait for NFY's game first ?

NFY's was supposed to be a concurrent light newbie game, but if I remember well, there was few newcomers, and it got filled with usual players. So it might be more akin to a standard game, and thus worthy of its own full-time slot.

Any news ? Any opinions ?

I think you should just start a signup thread. NFY hasn't been around in a while, and is seemingly busy with other stuff. Her game was also a 7-man game, so it is possible both could be run at the same time.

I think that you should start your game. NotFrenchYet seems to be busy. Besides, it may even be beneficial if her game's sign-up thread is kept open for longer, as it would allow newer players to join. That is, if we can bump the thread more regularly, and attempt to get other GOG users to try a game of forum mafia.

I actually did research around my city and not a single person knew about NFY's game, so it is clear that there indeed was not enough bumping and promoting.

Oh yeah, I should probably mention I'm starting a full time job tomorrow. This is coming after a looooong period of unemployment (the main reason I've been fairly active on the forums) so I expect to be fucking exhausted for at least a few weeks while I get back into real world sleep cycles. I'm mentioning this just in case my activity in this game takes a dive.
