Friends system(like to make lists of players one likes to play with, et al) for such a game would be nice. Dunno about ban system(unless there was a way to keep people from abusing it), though.

I think it fairly works with smaller group and several randos. The more the merrier of course but most of games it was at least passable how people behaved.

It rarely gets abused in games, in my experiences (they are scarce, I admmit that). Most of the time those complaining about it fully deserve to be kicked.

It does when you're host, so you can kick people out.

However, if you just start hosting a game, you won't get any players it seems, so the only way one of us is hosting is joining a game and playing long enough till the host leaves and you get promoted, or starting a game where a few of us join immediately.

That's because it's a private game by default. You can make it public by clicking on the button left of the START button.

By the way, how about we make a separate thread for all this? I'm don't like how we highjacked the mafia admin thread for something mostly unrelated.

Even after making public, it's impossible to have anyone join since your game appears at the bottom of the list. I waited for about 10 mins before giving up.

I still dislike such systems possibly being used by "certain kinds of game runners(mods? ops?)" to ban or kick those they just dislike for some trifling reason or another. It happens in other games as well with such systems.

Btw I support a kick system, but not so much a (perma?) ban system for such games...due to the aforementioned reasons mainly.

Is there a role or modifier that is confirmed to anyone who visits them? Not only cop, but any night visitor? Not like Innocent Child, only to that person visiting.

I'm not aware of such a role/modifier.

The closest I can think of is Friendly Neighbour, who gets confirmed to anyone whom he visits. Yours would be the passive version of it.
