bler144: So...looking at the queue, Sage is up next (hiatus), then agent (may not be available), then me, then flub.

While my game is basically ready to launch (as either 11 or 13 person setup), I'd prefer to wait a turn, knowing that if sage/agent come back I may get bumped further. I checked with flub a few days ago and he said he has a few setups ready to run.

Just throwing it out there.
Yeah, I really REALLY want to play bler's all-lesbian nun game, and I have to sit one out due to my schedule, so let's bump it back one, ok?

Hope springs eternal, it seems. Yogs is obsessed with satanic lesbian nuns. Funny that your game was also in an all-women's setting and with actual devils.

The nunnery game has an actual current social/health crisis as its backdrop (not same-sex marriage). But as you know, the game that's actually polished with the adalia stamp of approval has a different setting altogether. ;)
FYI: Looks like Insomnia has started. Small game count so far, at 25 per title.

Also, unless GOG does something, the forums could be a pain to post on for the next week or so; I'm seeing some slow down when trying to view threads and such.

Edit: Looks like they are running small, fast, repeating batches this time around. I've already seen Fallen Enchantress and Kerbal Space Program come around twice in the last hour. Bad if you wanted to see each one to make sure you don't miss anything. Good if you don't want to be staring at Keane 2 with 499/500 copies left for the next 6 hours.

Off-topic, but I don't really like this format. At least until things start slowing down you either have to sit and watch full-time, or just hope you get completely lucky.

One can argue a few of last year's sales were too slow (1+ hr), but 2-3 min is way too fast imo.

Yep, I clicked it and looked. I know it well. Funnyshit! Not too fond of the movie but there are some great scenes in it! (:

Just a reminder that the last game to get that was Bookwyrms... <_< >_>

But I think this one should be pretty interesting. Bler's put a lot of work into it :)

The nunnery game isn't quite ready.

The hospital game is ready, but without revealing too much, I think the design really needs at least half the field willing to at least potentially play loose regardless of alignment/role, creating room for others to fill in the space created.

To be clear, this is not Lift's game or Wyrm's game. There is a town with a collective win condition which will be posted, but town and scum will have to be willing to experiment a bit to win. But as I've hinted at prior, there's at least one bastard mod feature, and if the majority play their cards too close to the chest, it could slog and be frustrating for players.

Yogs' willingness to flip tables was going to be my insurance policy. ;) That said, if the core were wyrm/krypsyn/dess/dedo/drealmer that miiiight just be enough motion if others filled in around them.

Alas, adalia can't play (having seen the setup). CSP's play this past game I thought would fit well. Trent will either love it or hate it - I can't tell. ;)

I have no problems flipping tables, as long as it does not break the game. My issues is only things that break games, kills the fun.

I say that you should run that, then, if the GOGfather deems it okay to be so, that is, of course.

I hopefully won't get killed D1 in your game (*crosses fingers*) and will be able to help get things stirred up/moving somehwere a bit, as you are hoping to have.

Well, time will tell, but I ...think it's going to be hard to break the game with a single table flip. If anything I find the kinetic energy unleashed to be appealing. There is a vulnerability town might ultimately exploit _IF_ it can get there, but it's by design. A puzzle, if you will. And intended to be part of the overall balance.

But on the whole players should still be responsible for their own fate(s) I agree, whether that means individually or collectively. I'm wanting town to consider "playing" differently for this game in particular, but in the end I think they'll win/lose on at least something like the "normal" routine of investigations and piecing together whodunnit.

If/when my turn is actually up, I'll provide a little more detail in the signup thread.

Going in knowing it's a game to be played that way there's no way I could get upset about it if I played :)
