Neverwinter Nights? The MMO? I don't do those anymore; not since EverCrack Classic :P. However, I tend to play all classes/roles in those games, except pure DPS (amusingly).

My favorite character ever was probably this female healer I played in Dark Age of Camelot when it first came out. She had decent heals, but I put most of her skills into crowd-control (she had two instant mezzes for short duration and two longer cast ones that lasted a good while, iirc). I used to run into the PvP zones and find a group of enemies, then I would mez them, then strip off all my clothes and dance in front of them to taunt them, after the mezzes ran out, I would run away while using my instant heals and a speed boost spell.

So, yeah.. I am not sure if that is better or worse than attacking every guard, but I sure as heck thought it was hilarious. There were many a thread on the server forum maligning me (they never could see my name though) :P.

It was no surprise to me when, a few months after the game released, that Healer class was nerfed. Apparently, the Buffer/CC build I was using was deemed unbalancing :P. Who knew? Heh. Even though I understood it, I did quit the game the next day... ;)

Well, there were other reasons for me quitting. Primarily, the lag was insane. They changed the code to require line of sight for healing (because of exploits), but during PvP castle sieges, I was getting like 1 frame every 3 or 4 seconds. There was no way I could move quick enough to heal when LoS was required. However, I probably would have stuck around a little longer if they hadn't nerfed the silly fun out of my class as well. :P

This was also the game where I got moderators after me for for yelling "Slaughter the men, rape the women ... pillage if you have time left over!" during PvP battles. My response was "I am Norse, what do you expect me to yell?!" (It was an RP server) Yeah... they were not happy with me... Man.. those were fun times... :P

No, NWN is just Neverwinter Nights, the SP game with Co-op MP mode. Hence why I said attacking a guard. I don't think attacking guards is possible in the Neverwinter MMO.

I played EverQuest 2. Fun game, but WoW is still where its at for me. Playing vanilla WoW on a private server and I'm having fun running instances around the level 40 range. DPSing for the first time and it's a blast how fast I down enemies. I will have to switch to healing for raiding though. Feral DPS Druid is not very popular. You have a max of 1 per raid group sadly. And with 40 people raids, if by some chance a purple DPS item out of a set drops and you need it, there are probably 10 other rogues who have a set item available, but will roll for your item as well just for the heck of it. Damn these rogues.

Ahhh... I've played on several persistent worlds (was a builder/moderator on a couple) for both NWN and NWN2. I usually play Lawful Evil in D&D though, so I generally don't kill guards... at least not directly or obviously. ;)

I never really liked EQ2; i only played it because some friends wouldn't stop bugging me about it. I did like EQ Classic quite a bit, however. Never played WoW. A lot of my friends did, but it just never appealed to me for a variety of reasons.

Avoid multiplayer, unless it's on LAN, so they can actually see the rude gestures I'm doing to taunt them.
