So... this isn't going to be easy. I have to say, I was hoping to replace Crew when I got the call as replacing someone on the verge of a lynch is never going to be easy.

I can't explain Hyper's behaviour yesterday, I wouldn't even try. But I've had a couple of days to think about it and there are a few points that I can address.

So, first things first. I'm Brian Taggart, the Station Head of Chemistry (STR 3, FIN 4, INT 8). And I was expecting something from Quad's daybreak post that didn't happen, so I'm a little at a loss. Because I'm the Town Coroner, and I was expecting there to be no flip.
So with the fact that dedo's flipped... well, I'm not entirely sure what my purpose is, unless scum have a Janitor in addition to another killing role and they went with that one last night... either way, I don't see that my role is anywhere near as useful as Hyper seemed to think... so I have no problem with revealing it.

As for finding Hyper's behaviour suspicious... like I say, there's not much I can do to address that. I didn't find too much off with his posting while following the game, other than perhaps being a little snarkier than usual... but I can see that others have chosen to take this as scuminess.

Without looking it up, can you name one of the two dragons for which DKP was created?

I forgot their names, but I remember them being from EverQuest. Played a bit of that, but never got to them. I should return to it at some point.

I recall reading a guide about the different raiding systems in place in WoW and that's how I learned this.

Ahh, I see what you are saying. You are saying that your existence, as supposedly a Coroner in a full reveal game, implies the existence of Janitor. Fair enough.

This claim sounds like a lie. The hints Hyoer gave before day 1 ended would not have led me to coroner. If there really is a reason for a coroner in this game that have not been revealed yet why would you just blurt it out? Also, I know a coroner needs a background in science and math, but I don't think head of chemistry would be the coroner.

Coroner? Wut? Like how... whomever that was in that one Ranch game?
I'm not sure I buy it. Today's flip shows otherwise. Furthermore, even if one assumes you say the truth why did you claim? It doesn't make that much sense.

Let's look at this scenario: You are coroner. Scum have the possibility to night kill and make it so there's no flip. You claim ---> They know who you are. It paints a bit target on your back.

And then this begs the question: Why did scum not use the ability to hide the info of the target last night? What would even be the point in them using it with you having claimed?

Maybe you claimed out of confusion. Maybe you wanted to get things straight. Maybe you're lying. All sound a bit fishy. And I'm not even sure how your claim can be verified beyond the investigation of a role cop, so it might go to policy lynch.

Sad to see a droid go, but at least it wasn't a human. While a no night kill would be better, loss of a droid is acceptable.
