Hey all! Thank you for pointing out the issue with DOOM 3 serial keys. We apologize for this and the inconvenience that it might have caused. As pointed out - we're working on it and the new keys should arrive any day now. Where we can, we'll also remove the game from the places where we are advertising it until the situation is resolved (so that fewer people will run into the issue). We'll also add a notice about it to the game page.

Once again, our apologies for this situation, and thank you for staying vigilant.

MarkoH01: Another warning: Don't buy "The Mansion" if you want to have a complete game. It is 99,99% sure that this game is completely abandoned and the publisher only says that they have no plans to update it any time soon. Why should they, they already have the money. I'd call this a scam and GOG should either sue them or throw this game out.

JacobSlatter: I don't mind if gog sells abandoned games as long as they mark them as such and toss us a decent discount now and then. I agree that gog should keep up on the ones releasing games here though.
Okay, agreed. IF GOG would actually mark the game as being discontinued with a BIG warning that the game is incomplete and will probably remain so forever but what's playable is still an hour and that's what you pay for or anything like it, I would accept it. Last time I checked no such warning exists. Not GOGs fault but the publishers should get a big slap on their hand. They are abusing GOG customers right now and let them think that they are buying a complete game and that's simply a scam.

Such behavior should be discouraged as much as possible and a warning or disclaimer on the page would be nice. In the meantime customers should do their due diligence and check reviews and ask around before buying.

That is true as well - but some people simply don't have the time to do this for every purchase.

Well then until the owners of gog decide to add such a disclaimer it's up to the buyer to beware and for others like you and me to help warn them.
