Herr 8auer advices to do this yourself. I would be to affraid to try, i'm one who already gets nervous if a Ram module slot offers some resistance, on that note i suddenly remember my first gir crying out frustrated " Push you fool!! Push!!!! "

Caseking and some other places (overclockers uk?) used to offer delidded and clock tested CPU's. Not sure if they still do.
One of the advantages of laptops is that the CPU usually (at least a few years ago) don't have a heat spreader, better cooling=higher clocks on modern laptop hardware. But then, higher clocks=higher power usage "squared".


That said, "game fanatics" mostly don't care about hardware, those are the other fanatics.

ah yea, game fanatics are only interested in the game .... I imagine if you never felt the need for bigger, better or bolder you might be nothing more than just another user, i mean - we are talking fanatics?!
