It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

gamesfreak64: thanks for the warning but i.... ai aai aii i , i already learned it is different இ_இ
so i restored that one thing and decided to stick with the tabs on top , the about: config has become to complicated for both of my brain cells (-’๏_๏’-) i had a 'backup' i usually make backups.

Anyway thanks for all the help but i will have to get used to the ugly FF version that will become even uglier and harder to work with cause its become too complicated for me to tweak things in this version..
I know what you mean, it's almost like some went out of their way to make it harder to customize, and worse, screw up achieved customizations with some updates. 'Legacy' versions were a breeze in comparison in that respect. A lot of longtime users of that browser were and for good reason pissed off with the road the devs ended up taking.

Shame you had to give up for now, all that trouble for nothing or not much and you may find that you ended up loosing one brain cell in the process, ;-)

gamesfreak64: As for gaming, now that win7 is officiially +++ and a new setup is too expensive ( hardware in our shops is pretty expensive already) and with current things going on ( price going up) and the thing with the 'virus' things might become even more expensive so it is time to play my old games i havent played yet and hope the old setup can go another 20 years or so .
Baring hardware quitting on you sooner than you'd like, and assuming you've got good quality components, no reason you shouldn't be good to go for quite some time still. No reason to give up on win7 for gaming, just for security's sake follow the rules to keep safe should you need to be online -for example Steam games. If you follow the better safe than sorry protocol, you'll be okay. Also, granted this will happen less and less, but there are and still will be games you can run on win7, assuming your hardware supports it.

When it comes to software, so that you can at least go safely online plus also gaming), should you as I suspect turn your back on that thing passing as an OS; win10, you could go down the road (like many have made the choice to) to use Linux, I'd suggest Mint to you as very simple to use, has pretty much the feel of win7. There are threads on it here worth a look. Granted it can be a pain to get the game you want ported to Linux but there are plenty to go around.

Then when economical situation allows further down the line (indeed price hikes are here), you treat yourself to new hardware ;-)

Yes i lost half a brain cell allready and in >5 years another half leaving one to do basic things like dress myself, remembering my name and other personal info and age :D

That might even last 20 years unless corona goes out of control and everyone kicks the bucket, i hope that 1 braincell left would be enough to actually let me now i should be gone .. (hahaha) just kidding ofcourse,

Thing is things dont get better over time ( aging is bad) 20 years ago everything went much smoother , and only half way now, so image what lies ahead .....

Anyway, since FF is down the drain with version 72 , and i cant risk messing up FF72 , this topic can be closed by a mod if he/she wants to .

Nah, you'll be okay for decades to come with even just 1/2 cell left. I should know :-)

Remember what I said about how to and being able to play around without fear of messing up (do it on portable version) should you decide to eventually show FF who's boss, and that'd be you.

All the best and give a shout here should you find yourself in trouble again at some point and you need help. Start another thread if it's to do with that browser and this one's closed.

If you actively want it closed, I can pass that request along [Edit: Just let me know if you actively want it closed]. If you don't care, I see no particular reason to lock it.

Thank you for the fast reply, i don't mind if it stays open , if it's alright with you.
