Hello,
I sent a support ticket, but seeing as we're Sunday, I'm not sure GOG will bother to look at it until Monday...
I'm downloading Spore without Galaxy-DRM after formatting my laptop. I'd downloaded it without an issue before, but now the third file "setup_spore_3.1.0.22_(10834)-2.bin" continually returns a "Failed - File incomplete" error in Chrome.
I can't seem to find a link to install GOG Downloader to use that method, and (as stated above) I refuse to install Galaxy-DRM on my system since I've heard the horror stories of it failing to fully uninstall and corrupting games that are installed after the fact.
Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: I have found this https://www.gog.com/downloader but I can't see the two buttons, and I'm concerned one of both of them might be attempting to get you to install the DRM platform instead of the Downloader... Can anyone load that page and tell me what both buttons say, please?
EDIT 2: Hovering over the buttons reveals that the one on the left is for the installer and the one on the right for a zip file.
It will take a while to see if the downloader is able to get the last bit of the installer or not.
