I'm pretty sure LFG stands for Looking For Group. I think it's usually used in MMOs but can be used in other games. The last game i used it for extensively was Destiny.

Edit: GLHF might be Good Luck, Have Fun. From that article i've never seen HPB used anywhere though.

Edit 2: The Xbox E3 2016 conference demo didn't really look too good either. I didn't notice until someone pointed it out, but the objective on the screen of that "E3 Special Mission" shown in the video was to hold out until the rest of your group arrived. So the guy playing sucked, or the mission sucked. Either way they should have picked a better demo to show off the game then a mission where you get slapped around by an enemy for a few minutes with no seeming recourse.

ah see i dont play mmo's or multiplayer at all

hpb might stand for health points bar instead of the more standard lifebar
but some rpg's have a bar with hit-health points numbers in them

Off topic, but I've never played an MMO or MMO-lite (like Destiny) that i didn't come to hate (or hate myself) after i stopped playing it. I usually get too addicted for my own good. I disliked how much time i spent on Destiny (750 hours) but was too addicted to quit. The only thing that stopped me was i decided to get rid of my PS4. I still don't think i'll be able to help myself if i see Destiny 2 announced for PC hahaha.
So basically every Final Fantasy game since 10, then?
