DubConqueror: I always fall for the trap it's much easier to buy games than to finish one (this Summer Sale I reached the 400 games milestone, I don't think I've even played 10% of them, even less of them finished, I by now consoled myself with the fact I'm part gamer, part collector
I will never see the digital stuff on a virtual shelf as a "collection". Which is why I try to only buy stuff I will actually play, and I tend to buy little or nothing when I still have a backlog. That said, I don't necessarily finish all the games. I'm not going to torture myself with a game I'm not having fun with for the sake of completeing it. I doubt the end credits alone would be awesome enough to be worth it :D

That's the whole point. I actually didn't finish most of the titles I have ever played as a child. Mostly because of certain lack of self discipline, as I could just grab another title and simply have fun. That was a problem of starting something and not finishing and having just games for the sake of it. This problem also reflected how I treated everything else (for ex: reading books, learning at school). I guess now I'm sort of coming back to finish them one by one just not to feel guilty about it, however childish that sounds.

Also, loads of titles come and go from GOG, I have no idea how many classics I have missed and how many good games never made here? Like Blade Runner 1997, Flashback Quest for Identity. I still got Duke Nukem 3D and Mac versions of Fallout 2 & Tactics that are gone from the store. I've no idea if it were about copyright or system compatibility issues.

tinyE: Just remember, it's not the number of games that's important, it's the number of totally stupid useless fucking achievements that you get. :D
Better watch it. I;m waiting for someone to notice that we don't have forum achievements here and folks start asking for them.

Appears it has been asked for:

Crust almighty, I didn't even know something like that exists. As if rep wasn't stupid enough.

Achievement unlocked "Spell a sentence properly"
Achievement unlocked "Call someone a nazi"
Achievement unlocked "Get a temporary ban"

A forum bug. We've had it many times here. The new avatar will probably kick in in a while... probably.
I'm not sure if I will play all the games I've already bought. Does it really matter?
What really matters, I can play them whenever I want ; )
