I really need help from you guys. I installed FEAR platinum, but when I load it, it is not only missing sound, but also you fall out of the world within the first minute of starting the game. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

I would also like to mention that I have never had this problem with any other game, and downloaded it straight from GoG.

The first step to figure out your problem is to tell everyone what hardware you're using and what your operating system is. :P

AND to check the FEAR forum. There might be an entire thread about this.

Have you installed the game on an external hard drive?

Can't find anything regarding falling through the world.

Did you install it in Program FIles folder?
Have you installed normal sound drivers or are you using WIndows default crap ones?
Graphics card (what drivers)? Processor? WIndows version? Installed on portable HDD?

Actually no, when I get out of the car in the beginning, it is on the wrong side, thus no map is in that area. I will send a support ASAP. At the moment I am not on the subject pc, therefore unable to do a DxDiag. Expect my support form withing a few hours.

I recently sent the report to the GoG staff. I hope to get an answer soon, as I am really excited to play this game!
