I like to play Power Blade 2 on Christmas
Arkham Origins and Mafia II
Why, the most cheerful joyous bullet-gifting-to-the-face game there is: Doom! ;)
Cthulhu Saves Christmas
For some reason I always launch a Gabriel Knight game, either The Beast Within ot Blood of the Sacret, Blood of the Damned
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War - Winter Assault
How about Santa Clause in Trouble? The old version that was released prior to the Steam HD remake is surely available somewhere. It's a simple collect-all-boxes jump and run with tank controls, but surprisingly fun.
I don't really have any particular game, though I guess I do sometimes revisit one of the Jazz Jackrabbit christmas episodes.
Dragon age origins, elex and terraria
My new favourite Christmas game since last year must be forspoken, just because of all what's happening at the start of the game

Now i'm nowhere near finishing that title in terms of game completion nor will ever finish i presume, but for that money, it's a nice to know that you have a warm-hearted feel good containing all the ingredients you'd expect. (and certainly if you take a world as a place to travel around for and not some big piñata you have to smash a lot of times. At least, that is how i imagine that place to be...

So, to sum it up.

Cheesy characters, Cheesy story that follows predictable lines. One crazy, seemingly impossible treat. American film Christmas feeling
Sacred 2 Gold has an enjoyable quest, "Can Christmas Still be Saved." There is a special Christmas gear set which drops with its successful completion. There is no prerequisite quest, so it's easy to finish in a relatively short amount of time.

EDIT: With a plethora of side quests, a very large open-world map, and a very involving main quest, the game is well worth the investment.

Saints Row IV "How the Saints saved Christmas".
Some years ago it was Long Live the Queen (a single Christmas). For long I thought of playing The Last Express in a cozy afternoon, but never found the time for it... But yes, this time of the year, it feels like playing something special.

EDIT: For this season, I just remembered Song of Farca, about this futuristic detective who has to stay at home because of a restraining order. As cozy as it gets! Plus, one of the very best cyberpunk games ever, with lovely graphics. Meaning, not buying into the idea that cyberpunk is about aesthetics and mirrorshades, but about something else. Not for kids, since under the cute presentation, there is one of the most pungent stories and decisions ever. A very mature game for mature (or growing) players.

There is a free prologue, too.

If you don't mind: is it worth skipping the original Sacred or both are worthy your time as player, in your opinion?
