Hello all,

I just came to know about this , pretty shocked to hear that one of our earliest gog members delixe actually passed away due to cancer...
Not many people know when it happened the guess is around early / mid 2015 , i wish i had kept up with him back then , his last message was that he was about to undergo some treatment and communication would very rare...

Rip delixe thanks for all the good times, going by his steam account he loved to mod and play fallout new vegas.

GOG profile name: Delixe
Steam profile link : http://steamcommunity.com/id/OriginalDelixe
Twitter : https://twitter.com/Delixe
Website : http://www.callofqwerty.com/

If anyone of you were wondering why he disappeared all of a sudden, hope this gives you the closure, i was speaking with foxworks about something and then i remembered him and found out what happened, extremely sad...

Update : thanks to bansama for the link , delixe passed away on 28th dec 2014 ...

I remember having long and sometimes rather heated discussions with him, but he was one of the good guys.

Farewell, klingon with a tophat.
Damn, I rarely stick my head in the forums these days but he was a good egg.

Sucks to find out this late.

Thank you for letting us know though,
That's really sad.
Never talked with him. But still melts my heart.
I hope he finished all his games.
It really reminds me of Orion66, FearfulSymmetry and few others as I haven't seen them around for more than a year.
R.I.P. fellow gamer.

And he still had a long wishlist.
Ahh... this is making me cry. :'(

I don't know what is more cruel life, death or cancer.
I never had any personal interactions with him, but I do remember his posts; he was one of the "old guard" who really made this forum enjoyable back in the good old days.

RIP. You are indeed missed.
I don't think I've ever interacted with him, but it's always sad to see one lose the battle.

RIP, Delixe.
Wow, that's really sad and seems kinda surreal. We think of ourselves as "the young ones", because we enjoy a fairly recent form of entertainment (even if some of us are up there). We don't expect to lose one of our own peers.

Well I've experienced two of the three and haven't really enjoyed either.

cancer is the worst, My grandma died from it in 97, my brother had lukemia (he is in remission) and I had testicle cancer in 2013.
I remember him. He was one of 'em good ones. Farewell, friend.

Ditto.
Chemo, five days a week, 5-8 hours a day, for four months.
Well, I got Thanksgiving Thursday and that Friday off, which was nice. :D

Okay enough about our problems.

I didn't know this user which actually makes this worse. He sounds like a very valued member of the community and that is something we are ever in short supply of now a days.

My best wishes and heart goes out to his loved ones.

Yeah I hope they are coping well
I was thinking about him a few weeks ago, we had a few brief conversations in the past. I somewhat figured he either gave up gaming because of his personal health issues or he unfortunately passed away. What a shame to learn it was the latter.

Rest in peace Delixe.
