Boy they weren't kidding when they said this game was short.
I'm not disappointed that it's so short. I'm not disappointed that a lot of the knick knacks you pick up that aren't fuel packages seem to serve no purpose. I'm disappointed that the adventure is all over and that there is nothing more to it.
I think the best word I can think of to describe my feelings by the end of the game is "haunted". The gloomy imagery sticks with you long after the mystery of what it is your tiny character is doing out there in such a strange vehicle. It's more like an interactive animated short from some film festival than a full blown game.
For the record, I only got a sense of being stuck once. I was unaware that certain obstacles can not be overcome by puzzling it out or manipulating buttons but by simple brute application of the steam engine. I was merely overthinking it.
