Titanium: I would never dump my yahoo mail. I know I experimented with hotmail that one time, but it meant nothing to me.
Had some trouble with yahoo of late (important work-related stuff that didn't get through) which was enough for me to switch to a paying hosted solution using a domain I own.

Haven't looked back since and frankly, it looks more professional too.

Still keep my yahoo as a spare, but I no longer use it all that much.

If you use your email for serious professional stuff, I think paid hosting with a domain you own is the way to go. The free stuff is only good for purely personal use.

Orange, at this point, the safest thing to do is to disconnect all of your devices from the Internet. Stay offline and you'll never have to worry about spam again. If you really want to be safe, stop using electronic devices. Find a community that does not use electricity. It's the only way.

You forgot the tinfoil hat. Or even better, build a faraday cage around the house. No more yahoos, problem solved!

ambient_orange: Decided to change email because im sick of advertisments in mail. So i decided to change email here. Guess what.. Gog SENT email to yahoo about it.

Yes, big Fank you!
That's for security reason.

Do you ever think of changing E-mail again so GoG will send the security E-mail to the second newest mail and Yahoo will not know about it?

When something ya don't like happens, the standard operating procedure is to blame it on GOG.com, or someone else rather than taking personal responsibility.

GOG TURNED ME INTO A NEUT!
I can't understand the fuss about this.
I cancelled my email account and now GOG sends all messages via a singing gorilla.
