I noticed I was being shown the Fallout games as though I hadn't bought them; when I checked my library, I noticed that my versions are marked as "Classic". Is this just an artefact of the changeover from Interplay to Bethesda? Are there any differences between the versions?

Yeah, it is from the changeover. The only difference is you get LESS goodies with the Bethesda versions. Games are teh same.
I believe the Bethesda versions start with the Bethesda logo as well, and have their copyright info on the title screen.

One other thing: Getting the new version will get you Arena and Daggerfall added to your library, whereas the Classic versions will not.

With that said, why buy the same game you already own when you can get Arena and Daggerfall by buying a Bethesda game you don't already have? (There are also freeware versions you can download from Bethesda's site.)

By the way, if you have Arena and Daggerfall in your GOG library, don't forget to check the extras; I found the Arena Codex Scientia there!

But thank you. Wasn't even aware it existed.

You're welcome. I made a topic on the Elder Scrolls forum asking a question about it; maybe you should check it out?

By the way, one mistake in (probably) the conversion to digital can be found on page 126; on the GOG version of the manual, the Warlock's Ring is said to heal "50 to 5- pts, +1 to 1 pts per level" (notice the '-' instead of what should be a digit?); that could, perhaps, be helpful in tracing the origin of the file.
Argh, I only have the non-classic series with less goodies so can any1 enlighten me what were the goodies i missed out on? Thks.

You can see them here. (List is pretty much the same for Fallout 2 Classic.) The goodies list for Fallout Tactics Classic is, oddly, somewhat longer.

EDIT: Ninja'd while doing research. :/
