just downloaded fallout 3 goty and had to install the nexus patch to get it running, but now whenever a pipboy screen opens in the game all i see is a grey screen. does anyone know how to fix this? cant even read this childrens book at the beginning

I'm assuming you're using Windows 11 and have it updated? Big mistake if that's the case.

Try using DXVK, which is a set of libraries made to translate DX calls to Vulkan.

You should also get the Games for Windows disabler mod and run the game in admin mode.

The mod worked for me as I'm still on 7/10 but you may also need to use DXVK.
