Disregard - I found a solution.
Hi guys, I just reinstalled Fallout 1 after doing a clean install of Windows 10.
I had Fallout 1 installed just a few days ago (before the clean install) and I'd swear that the game was displayed in Widescreen (with the entire screen.) But now the game has black bars on the sides of the square gameplay screen.
I have the Hi-Res patch enabled, with Scaling X2 checked, and I'm set at 1920x1080.
Am I missing something, or did I imagine the widescreen before? Or maybe I need to install a driver that was present in my previous installation?
Edit: Something else strange, modifying the hi-res config (resolution, x2, hi-res on) seems to do nothing,
Edit 2: Had GOG Galaxy verify and repair the files, and now it's working correctly (I think).
