An Enchantress that's gone Ele-mental. A leader who chooses to oppose her.

Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes, a turn-based strategy epic, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount and GOG Galaxy support for achievements.

The Cataclysm has passed, yet that does not mark the end of the ordeals suffered by the survivors. The Fallen Enchantress seeks to destroy all that is left and drive the rebuilding civilizations back to the ground.

But not if you have anything to say about it.

Brave heroes and massive armies will heed your call to arms, helping you shape an empire that can stand against the horrors of the ruthless Enchantress. Build your fame and gain the support of all those willing to join the fight in tactical, grid-based battles across a variety of expansive maps. Bring your new spells, new monsters and new items to the battlefield and end the Enchantress' tyranny once and for all.

Don't miss the opportunity to further expand your strategic options by getting the Ultimate Edition, which includes additional battlefields, heroes, quests, loot and factions! If you are not ready to commit yet, you can also Upgrade to Ultimate later.

Capitalize on your fame and amass powerful armies in Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes, now DRM-free on GOG.com. The launch discount will last until December 13, 1:59 PM GMT.

Matruchus: Nice release. Will wait to see if it shows up as a redeemable game later since I own it at Stardock.
also in this boat. Not buying anything until I get GOG keys from them for games I already recieved/bought. When I do though, I will debate doing the ultimate upgrade

mrkgnao: If you buy it, could you please update your wiki page so that MaGog could learn its library game IDs. I am guessing the game is unbundled and therefore has different game IDs in the catalogue and library.
Will do. I'm still on the fence about it at the moment. It seems like the game is basically one giant ongoing skirmish, as opposed to a structured campaign. I'm more of a fan of the latter, though the former does have more replay value in theory.

aluinie: Bought this as great 4x fantasy game. Have this on steam but the more games i dont have to rely on that the better in my books.
i had Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes at sales on GG (steam)
plus Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes – Leader Pack DLC
The Dead World DLC

now i can also remove that from the list of games that were steam only.

now theres only 4 games left (steam/tages/securom)

secretfiles 2(tages),and 3(steam), secretfiles sam peters (steam), lost horizon 1 (securom)
lost horizon 2 is too big for my pc, it requires 2 GB videoram

I, too, am mostly a campaign person.
I shall probably wait until the game is a mystery game in the 2017 Winter Sale and get it then.
I keep it on the radar, but 43$ (21$ on sale) seems a bit expansive for a game with such a long and contentious development history.

aha, the steam keys ? you mean if owned you will get the gog version ?
how would that be done? most keys are used and activated....
anyway, i bought them , i dont care about that stuff of getting free game if bought elsewehere using keys.
I have little expensive games at steam, i had fallout classics but these are uninstalled from the pc now that i have them at gog.

Steam will be only used for very cheap casual games (hidden objects) , although steam doesnt have any old games that i already have, and the new casuals are 99% steam required so i guess i wont be using steam that often , its installed on old xp, and i rarely use that now.

You could just get the normal edition for $12 first.

I'm leaning that way now too. It's a nice debut price, but not something I'd play any time soon. And doubtless it will eventually be offered at this price again some day.

We are not talking just about Steam versions. Any Stardock game which ever version (be it Stardock or Steam version) that came before gogs drm-free version comes with a forced Stardock account with games library on Stardock included. So all the games are directly registered at Stardock with ownership bound to our email accounts.
I would like some clarification after reading the game card, please - is this release inclusive of Elemental: Fallen Enchantress AND Fallen Enchantress: Legendary heroes? If so it's suddenly very tempting...

Ultimate Edition and the basic edition include Fallen Enchantress and Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes.

Link to gamecard for Ultimate Edition http://www.gog.com/game/fallen_enchantress_ultimate_edition
Link to basic edition: http://www.gog.com/game/fallen_enchantress_legendary_heroes

Just to point out though that Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is just an upgraded version of Fallen Enchantress its not a different game.

Sneaks! Sneaksy sneaks!
Dropping a game like that in the middle of a sale, I almost missed it. :)
Wishlisted for now, because of monies going towards the sale.

So does the base edition.

Have already fixed it before you posted :)
Thanks for your reply Matruchus. Reviews on Metacritic seemed to indicate that it was two seperate games - Elemental plus a STANDALONE expansion, which to my mind means two seperate games with the expansion not including the original whatever (story, quests, etc.).
