GameRager: 2. That pic has pron/nudity in one of the pics under the main pic. Maybe that's why it got low rated?

clarry: Uhh.. now I don't even know if we're looking at the same thing.
We are. That site you linked shows random pics under the pic being shown(as recommondations) and some are a bit lewd or un-pc.

Hilarious. That link serves me a single jpeg, and nothing else.

That's why we need a CAS but thanks to highly asymmetric connections, third world (US) data caps, and piracy crackdowns, I don't think we'll ever get a public large scale CAS. Sigh.

ChrisGamer300: You are not allowed to have an opinion, follow in line and or get fucked by mob ! atleast this is what i have gathered from observing this and other forums, public spaces are trash nowadays.
This sums it all up really. Not just the forum but the current leaning of civilisation we live in.

CAS?

Also maybe you have that element of the page blocked or your browser doesn't load it?

Regardless, I usually save the pic and post it as an attachment(or only post links to the pic itself from clean sources) to be careful such doesn't happen.

GameRager: CAS?
Content Addressed Storage. A system whereby documents (files, etc.) are referred to by their cryptographic hash. When you give someone a link, the link itself is or contains a hash and thus guarantees that they will receive the same exact file.

Also maybe you have that element of the page blocked or your browser doesn't load it?
Nah, there are no elements to block, it's literally just one jpeg file.

1. Thanks for that info

2. Odd, the page also displays a set of recommendations to me as well as a link to the random pic listing.

"//images.apina.biz/full/171881.jpg"

Actually GameRager is correct, it's not an actual link to an image, but the webpage which contains the image, however if you block parts of the bullshit the site advertises the image won't show.

I clicked the other link.

The correct link would be "//images.apina.biz/medium/m_171881.jpg" for the image.

I would assume since Clarry is a frequent visitor that his preferences are saved and so the correct image works for him.

Clicking media would be the correct way.

Look again. What did you see in the first screenshot I posted? image/jpeg! And its size is 192,536 bytes.

And what does it show under media? The exact same URL, its type is "Image", and its size is, yes, 192,536 bytes.

Media shows all media elements i had no need to look again, the link doesn't matter what is showing does.

Like i have said, the link is incorrect, it's linking to a page not the image, it is not a direct link.

If you bothered to take a look at the screenshots I posted, you would see that it is a direct link for me!

Not being harsh, Lol.

It's probably his preferences and cookies, after some testing the link does work, if you've already visited the site, however if you're new you'll get the base page with porn.

He's a frequent visitor so yeah, i guess one might want to bleach out the browser history at somepoint.
