So I'm wondering if there is a way to create external shortcuts that will launch a game through Galaxy. Something like how Steam allows you to create desktop shortcuts that actually launch the game through Steam.

The reason I'm asking is because I use a program called Launchbox as my game launcher, but I'd like to be able to launch games I have through GOG with the special features that Galaxy gives (such as cloud saves and the overlay).

Yes you can create shortcuts to use Galaxy:

"GALAXYPATH\GalaxyClient.exe" /command=runGame /gameId=IDNUMBER /path="GAMEPATH"

The uppercase words have to be changed to the specific value. The gameid you can easily see by looking into the game folder and check for files with "goggame-IDNUMBER" in them.
