Excuses excuses is all i hear about the delay in giving back my money. I didnt play the game or download it and i notified them on release except i was informing the Gear website instead of GOG.

Though yea, don't get me wrong. I do understand how frustrating these processes can be. Most of the time they are a picture perfect, coughs, company but yea a minor percentage does have to deal with these wrongdoings.

Overall it does seem you don't have to complain about anything. While reluctant and making the error of dropping the fault into your shoes instead of recognizing their own part in this delayed money back request there do seem to be a couple of possibilities left for getting a refund, either by using their own wallet or paypall.

I presume this is noted in the refunding policy how they deal with refunds money wise?

Ya, reading the post you provided they are not trying to make excuses to not give you your money back, they are asking for a Paypal account to return the money to.
They are asking you for a Paypall account to give you your money back... What is the problem again?

So let me get this straight.

You loved the DEVs so much, that you wanted to give them 100% of the money, but because of some hiccup or bug, and even though you are yet to play the game, you want to totally abandon them now?

Refunds should occur when warranted, but never made too easy to get. It looks to me however, that you have been given two reasonable choices, considering.
