Lies or a lack of communication about DRM implementation - does it really matter? Most companies aren't open about it because it will result in less sales.
Are you really expecting to hear one or more of the following?
"we want to be in control of the games we sell"
"we sell your personal information"
"we think that you're a potential thief/pirate"
"our financial advisors told us that shutting down servers will result in more income from other/future games"
"we only care about the bottom line"
etc. etc.
