Please welcome two exciting puzzle platformers published by Meridian4 on GOG:

Soulless: Ray of Hope (-75%)
Schein (-75%)

Both titles are discounted until 15th July 2022, 1 PM UTC. Also, get ready for a pixel art point-and-click murder mystery Murder Is Game Over that will arrive at our store in the future.

argamasa: And the Steam link of the bottom of the page.... i would deleted, doing ad from another store...
ROFL! Sixteen hours later, it is still there. xD Glad I got to see it with my own eyes. I normally read about this kind of stuff but never actually witness it. Gave me a good chuckle!

karnak1: I also already already owned Schein - which is now named Schein Base as a previous user posted.
I'd also like to know wether there's any difference between the new release and the previous one to justify two different database entries.

Mortius1: The GOGDB entry for Schein Base lists some bonus content wallpapers. No mention of them are made on the current Schein listing page.
Thank you. As I own the previous version I can confirm that it indeed brings some wallpapers.
So I guess this is like the original Fallout games situation - where the original Interplay versions were packed with extras, completely absent from the Bethesda releases.

Shame... I was willing to buy the new Schein (given the low release price) if it included some new features. As it is I'll just stick to the previous version.
Thank you, again, for your help.

I can confirm there is no wallpaper (or any extras) included with this version, although I can't imagine it is much of a loss. It is a 381MB download. I see from the GOGDB link that the old one is 532.7 MB, hopefully just better compression or possibly it is missing something.

Strangely, meridian4.com redirects to their publisher page on Steam and their own website is meridianfoursite.wixsite.com/meridian4 (it doesn't work without the /meridian4 :/).

low rated
What in the actual fuck, GOG? Does your hypocrisy know no bounds? You delete user posts for linking to other stores because "advertising" even when the purpose is being informative, and you straight up post a link to the Steam page of a game on the game page here?

This is beyond disgusting and reveals your anti-consumer behavior to be "you can't post links to other stores to help users, even if the game linked isn't sold here." I don't understand your complete lack of logic and even basic competency.

After an hour spend in Schein (I've got a copy on Steam) and after this comment of Enebias – I've realized I'm no longer interested in these games.

Schein – clever gameplay concept and it might be a great puzzle-platformer, but I simply don't like how much time-based challenges are there.
– Soulless – I'd probably try this one, but due to lack of Linux installer, I'd rather take it some day on Steam.
I'm sure I've seen these games before or last week.
