New adventures in The Witcher universe await the bold magicians, yet the question remains – are you up to the task? The chance to find out is now closer than ever before! On the occasion of the CD PROJEKT RED studio’s 20th anniversary Gwent: Rogue Mage - Deluxe Edition received a 20% discount that will last until 14th August 2022, 5 PM UTC.

The Deluxe Edition includes not only the base game but also the official soundtrack, 3 alternative looks for Alzur, and some neat goodies to be unlocked in GWENT. If you want to start your adventure with The Witcher card game, but still can’t master the rules, the video below will fill you in on the basics.
Are you really asking us to pay to remove the DRM from Gwent? And for that price, we do not even get access to the full content of the original game?

Gwent is a perfect match for Steam/Origin/Epic, but it should never have been distributed through GOG in the first place. This expansion is nothing but a reminder of GOG double-standard regarding DRM.

I think you're confusing Rogue Mage with online Gwent, which is free to play.
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and GWENT: Rogue Mage are two separate entities. The latter, which is currently on sale, is a single-player standalone expansion.
Why pick the deluxe over the regular one? Gimme reasons, folks, plz ;)

1.You like multi-player Gwent
2. You like opening lootboxes in freemium games
3. You have a gut instinct that you will like the music so much that you will load it onto your iPod.
4. You want to give GOG and CD Projekt Group more of your money.

I think that sums it up.
