I looked back 3 pages and didn't see a thread on this so...

ZOMG!!!

Looks like maybe Highrock or Hammerfell. Although could technically be Elsweyr.

I'm just really glad it's not Valenwood.

I do like the Elder Scrolls games, so will be looking forward to this one. Gotta admit though, that I'm more interested in Starfield.
The Elder Scrolls VI: Latvia
Going by the landscape and coastline in the teaser video...

The Elder Scrolls VI: Almería

- Bribe local faction leaders, which will unlock the possibility of building settlements on the beautiful shoreline.

- Erect unsightly polytunnels to plant and grow your own food.

- (Spoiler) Nude mod available within 6 hours of game release, for use at certain beaches.

I'm guessing Daggerfall area... High Rock and Orsinium probably. Matches the video tease's look and goes along with their tendency since Oblivion to choose more mass market friendly fantasy settings.
I'm catiously optimistic but i do really hope they improve from Skyrim/Fallout 4 and implement decent rpg mechanics, like deeper character customization, give us real choice, larger cities, more than blank slate npc's, more spells, deeper and content heavy factions and so on.

I like High Rock i must admit and i get some nostalgia feelings from Daggerfall and a similar court system where the percentage of succes is based on speech skills checks would be nice to not have speech be utterly useless.
Maybe they can have a Divine faction back in the city of Wayrest unless the city is not too fucked up.

As for story i don't really care as long it's not Skyrim 2.0 and you have to become the Tiber SeptimBorn and chase out Thalmor here too because you are the ONE they fear.

I doubt they'll change direction. The perk systems they have established allows for a ton of RPG style character definition without "confusing" stats for casual players. That's all they care about. Personally I disagree with a lot of old-schoolers about it. I do think the perk systems of Skyrim and Fallout 4 forced me to choose character roles and stick to them more than people say. In fact it was easier to become an all-purpose god in classics like Morrowind, IMO.

Probably but i personally prefer stats since it feels more personlized like it's your character as long as it doesn't hinder your HP gain and force you to level in a tedious way, I'm not entirely against perks but if they decide to implement it atleast make the perk trees larger with more choice and less raw stat increases like + % damage and reduction and having a few more unique perks.

Yes i hope they can balance endgame difficulty better too regardless of how they decide to approach it, i'm not going to be negative about the game this time and instead be hopeful that they can improve what worked and what didn't.
I wonder if the future games of scrolls will be online line the fallout 76 game. I am worried they will try to implement the online function to all there games over time.

I would imagine not. They already have Elder Scrolls Online, and running two multiplayer games within the same setting is probably something they would see as a bad idea. The Fallout IP is different because it doesn't have an MMO.

But... I have been wrong before.
I remember that in the first Elder Scrolls, Hammerfell was full of cactus and sand. It would be nice to see it. It would spawn something like The Elder Scrolls VI: New Vegas.

But damn, I only played the first and Oblivion. I don't have the time to play every big GDR as I should and as I'd like to do.

The Fallout MMO is clearly an extension of the project Interplay was working on. They had a deal that if Interplay was successful in producing the MMO in the allotted time they would keep the rights, and if not then Bethesda would take them over. Fallout 76 is undoubtedly built upon the work done by Interplay. It's not part of a trend to make the IPs online only. Bethesda is built upon strong single player experiences, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they threw that away.

I honestly doubt that any new Fallout multiplayer could be build upon anything written by Interplay. That was simply too long ago and is probably not at all useful in the modern day.

He said specifically at the conference that the normal Bethesda team is making their next singleplayer RPG, Starfield, and then said TES6 is the one after that. No need to worry IMO. They might have co-op but that's likely it.
Akavir!!!
Meh, probably not in my lifetime.

I'll welcome any province, but if they mess up the gameplay that will be the end of it. Skyrim is a borderline to me.
