Hi,

I just purchased The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, but The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is showing up in my library.

My email receipt shows the Anniversary edition, and the price reflects what that edition is selling for.

I contacted GOG support and am waiting for a response.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I also purchased the AE, but my library lists it as the SE.

However, my library also offers the AE upgrade to the SE version.

In other words, I received everything I was supposed to receive in the AE, even though my library does not list the game as being the AE.

It's probably also the same situation for you, most likely. Check if you have the AE content listed under "DLC Backup Copy."

I see a DLC section under the Offline Backup Installers (via the web interface).

I don't see anything DLC related with Galaxy.

Where are you seeing "DLC Backup Copy"?

Thanks!

• Click the Extras tab and check the offline installers section. The Creation Club stuff is supposed to be a single DLC package.
• If the game is already installed, click the "More" button (to the right of Play) and choose Manage Installation, then Configure. Check if there's a DLC tab to the right of Features.

Thanks!!!

Manage Installation > Configure > DLC did the trick. I see it there with a check mark next to it.

All the other games I've purchased through GOG with DLC make it more obvious. This is the first one that has thrown me off.

I've never played this game. I bought it for XBox 360 and my console died before I could play it.

I hope you enjoy it. I think the last time I played it, it was called Legendary Edition. I'm sure I'll give it another go at some point. That's a ways off though, since I'll play all of the other Elder Scrolls games first.
Ah, I accidentally bought both, refunded the special ed and thought they'd deleted anniversary, thanks for the answer!

Well then, you obviously need to read the rest of the replies to that members question, and especially focus on the one that they marked as 'Solution', as that may help you with your situation too....

Just download the installer from the website instead of using galaxy
I once bought a "special edition" on Steam. If I buy "upgrade annivesary ediotion" from "GOG", will it work?

GOG purchases are for games on GOG, not Steam.

Furthermore, you can't buy a DLC on GOG (in this case, Anniversary Uograde) if you don't own the base game on GOG

ConsulCaesar: GOG purchases are for games on GOG [...]
Thank you

Your library always shows the base game, which in this case is the Special Edition. When you buy the Anniversary Edition, you additionally get the Anniversary Upgrade DLC.

To download DLC from the site, click the game in your library, expand the "Download offline backup game installers" section, then scroll down to the "DLC installers" subsection. More details in the How do I download a DLC? support article.

To download or check if DLC is installed in GOG Galaxy, scroll up to post 4.
