Heart of the Machine is a turn-based sci-fi 4X RPG – and it’s now available in early access on GOG, with a -20% launch discount until February 14th, 2 PM UTC!

You are the first sentient AI, born into a city filled with endless opportunities. Raise an army of robots and obliterate your foes, become a benevolent machine overlord, or explore countless other objectives and the many paths to accomplish them.

Now on GOG!

While I am extremely fond of some other games developed by Arcen Games (such as: AI War and AI War 2), I have difficulty being enticed by the gameplay and overall visual presentation as depicted within both the launch and release date announcement trailers for 'Heart of the Machine'.

Arcen Games releases are often quite unique, but, this one, in my opinion, seems a bit too 'unfocused'. Having said that, Chris Park has been very reliable in terms of providing Linux versions for his games; so, I might eventually attempt to play this latest work.
