The classic game remastered. Feel the power of flying a 10-men crew on a B-17 over occupied Europe in WWII…

B-17 Flying Fortress : The Mighty 8th Redux is now available on GOG in its early access!

The missions undertaken by the crews of B-17 bombers during World War II are the stuff of legend. What was it like to fly through relentless anti-aircraft fire over Nazi-occupied Europe? What was it like to have a thin layer of steel between life and death at 15,000 feet? How did it feel to furiously fend off enemy fighters zipping around your plane and then to precisely deliver your payload over enemy targets?

Find out for yourself as you lead a 10-man crew to victory (or defeat) in the remastered version of this action-adventure flight simulator.

Check out everything that the early access of B-17 Flying Fortress : The Mighty 8th Redux offers and take the flight!

allope: Be sure to purchase the original..if you want it...in case it vanishes!
That's some sound advice!

Sulibor: According to [the] developers, [the game] will remain [on Steam]:
"The original game will remain available on Steam. It serves as a time capsule of how the original B17: The Mighty 8th game was when it was first released."

allope: That's good to know....When "Shadow Man remastered" came out, the original vanished so I was not able to experience that one.
Well, the same can happen to you in this case - as long as you don't buy the original, while it is still available.
Just because it hasn't been removed so far, doesn't mean it won't be removed in the future.

Btw: it's a very sad day, when we think of Steam as a "future time capsule" for the "preservation" of a game, that we (still) can have DRM-free here on GOG.

13ison: It's nice to see a remaster being brought out without the need to get rid of the original.
I wouldn't count on the original staying here forever.
Mind you: things can always change.
Better to be safe than sorry, and buy the original, while it's available.
