Why would you remaster something that average computers can just now just barely seem to run?
Given that C&C4 is a) always-online and b) utterly crap and despised by everyone, I wonder if they're just killing the servers. I can't imagine there'd be much market for a remaster unless they completely changed the gameplay so that it was actually a Command & Conquer game.
Both games are still available on Origin... for the time being.
RIP. glad I own Crysis already
No loss with C&C4. That pile of crap shouldn't have been made.
Last good C&C game was Red Alert 3: Uprising, so no loss there. C&C 4 is such garbage that they're doing the the public a service by preventing people from getting it.

As for Crysis, I finished it once and don't really have a desire to replay it. But whatever they're gonna do with it, I hope that the original version stays up on GOG. Maybe they forget GOG exists...

Lol, I thought the same-it just needs to be here a little bit longer so I can grab it in time. Hopefully...
Also, many thanks to OP for mentioning this.

For some reason Crysis: Warhead was left alone.

Crysis® Maximum Edition bundle still available (Crysis + Warhead)
https://store.steampowered.com/sub/987/

As for the C&C 4 I can see that there are way too many threads about issues with online activation and playing the game. Instead of fixing them EA just pulled the game from the store:

Crysis worries me a tad bit

C&C 4 I care nothing about good riddance to rubbish.
C&C 4 should be deleted from history, nothing worth saving about that dreck.

It's not part of the remaster, so makes sense. They supposedly lost the source code according to Digital Foundry. Luckily we all have the lovely 64bit GOG versions I hope. :)

Same reason they "needed" to Remaster Bioshock to look exactly the same. Or why they 'need' a new Skyrim every 3 years. AAA remasters have never really been about how they look or run. It's all about the money. As soon as people signalled they were happy with paying 2-5x the money for 10-30 year old games from slapping a thin coat of paint on them, (ker-ching!), the floodgates opened...

Ugh, CnC 4... now why'd you have to go and open up that old wound?
