The Humble Store has a "DRM-Freedom Sale" running:

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/drmfreedom-sale

Games are discounted up to 96% ("Silence of the Sleep" is the 96% alibi-game for €0,95), but of course - the majority of the games are discounted in the range between 50% and 75%.

The countdown says, it's still running for the next five days and 17 hours (as of now).

Nice find. I will check out the sale tomorrow or so. Have a good one.
I'm intrigued. Is there anything worthwhile there not available on GOG or at a better price?

Druidstone is cheaper there right now, although I wont' be getting it there. I saw about 6 games I was interested in not on gog. However, I have never used Humble before, and have no idea:

1) How well are the DRM-free downloads supported?
1a) What if only part of it is DRM-free? One game I was interested in said something about a Steam key for bonus content.
2) What site(s) do I need to disable in noscript in order for card payment to work?
3) Why do they need my address before I can enter credit card info?

The first I can gamble on for such low prices. The last two bother me enough that I'm just going to drop it. I have too many games, anyway.

1 - As far as I know, you can download the files as often as you like (what I mean is: the links don't expire). Whether or not the files will get patched in the future (which was your concern, I assume?) I can't say for sure, sorry - I usually download them and then never look back. :)

1a - as far as I have checked, you get Steamkeys for every (?) game that you buy...in addition to the DRM-free version. So - if there is actually some bonus content for one of the games, which is Steam-exclusive...I would simply ask myself: is this bonus really something I absolutely need/want? And if the answer is "no"...I'd buy the DRM-free version nonetheless (and don't forget: you get the "full" Steam version "for free" in addidtion)

2 - Sorry, I have no clue. But PayPal works, too...if that's an option for you,

3 - Probably to make sure that the CC matches you as the holder?
(I don't have a CC, so I don't know - sorry)

Some games are not supported as much as gog version... A lot of them are missing patches. At least that is the case for a game I have there which is don't starve which last update was back in 2014. But there are some good publishers such as daedalic entertainmet , xseed games and some others that patch their games regularty.

2. I don't know but I myself would be willing to experiement and see what to dsiable if the prices are good and the games are DRM free.

3. Some sites check your listed address against what is on file with your CC company to make sure the care is yours, so that is most likely why they ask.

Here's what I'm complaining about: I hit the "Pay with card" button, and nothing happens. Finally, I find a JS site that, when allowed, causes a popup to appear, asking for my name and address. No request for credit card info. I do not know if entering my name and address will even result in them asking for my card info. The correct order, used by virtually every single site I have ever used, is to ask at the same time or after the card info. To put it another way, I don't trust their site.

Did you try a prepaid card and a fake address?

The card payments are stripe and yeah it asks for address then you card details after. You will also need to allow google recatpcha so thats google.com and gstatic.com that need enabled. I often don't buy from Humble cause I can't be bothered with the hassle of enabling all that crap and then dealing with captchas.

As to the DRM-free downloads they are handled directly by the developer/publisher so there is no right answer as to what you get it could be a zip with the game in it a custom installer or a broken installer. Harebrained schemes managed to upload broken linux archives and completely uncompressed ones too. Humble will typically tell you to contact the dev if there is an issue and if you can't resolve it give you store credit.
