I'll jump in again to add that this is not at all recent, and dates Facebook by... I want to say... a decade.

Though the series finished after facebook became mainstream.

Also, this series is honestly quite important to gaming, and PCs in general.

Nope. The game the picture refers to was released before Bloodlines.
Okay, here's a hint for you guys.
The series this is part of involves books, and this specific game is the second game of this series.

I don't think I'm going to have time for a quick drawing, but I just wanted to say it's an awesome game, very riveting and mysterious. And I love watching Zacron get excited whenever this series is mentioned here lol.

Alright I'll bite, two days is way to long of a time to guess this game.
I spent over a week trying to figure out a puzzle, only to find out all I have to do is close a door. It's one of my all time favorites.
The answer is: Riven: The Sequel to Myst
