It somehow reminds me of the slideshows in Psychonauts, when you open the safes. Probably too obvious to be it, though. :-P

At the risk of being a troll, if the walking trees in the LOTR movies had looked that cool I probably would have enjoyed them a lot more.

Oh and I'm going to throw a wild guess out and say Warcraft 3.

There were no walking trees in Warcraft 2. You're thinking of Warcraft III.

That tree reminds me of one of the reoccurring bosses in the Kirby series... But I don't think that is it...

Happens the same to me, but I think I remember it as if it were from a cartoon, with a long thin nose, full black eyes and a mouth the same size as the eyes.
There were, but they walk too fast, so they get out of the map before you get to scroll to them ;P

There are walking trees in the first stage of Act Raiser, and other trees in that same forest spawn flying insects.

They don't look quite like this one, though. Plus, no bombs and blue-haired elves!
