grimwerk: I've never been tempted to try one of the more modern Lode Runners. Maybe I should. I must've made 100 levels as a kid.
Maybe you shouldn't ;) Of course I'm just kidding, everybody has his/her own taste but I couldn't play those for more than five minutes. The concept of the original was so amazing and addictive that enhanced graphics just spoils everything for me. True, and [url=http://www.dpadmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/lode1.jpg]that look pretty but the magic is gone.

I'll draw something soon.
Actually I like the KGoldrunner clone of Lode Runner. (open source, Linux, KDE-based game)
What is it then?

Boulder Dash. And you are about to die.

I'll park my loyal phalanx on a mountaintop and there it will remain for 3000 years.

I have to know, how does a rocket filled with beach balls remind you of Civilization?
I'm not saying you're wrong, but I have been staring at the picture for a couple of minutes and I don't see the connection.

Tears of nostalgia welled up in my eyes... beautiful, just beautiful...

I'll admit there was a very brief flash of pinball or physics game when I first opened the image. I soon recognized it as a ship, both modular and incomplete. Which implies I was building it, which narrowed it down to a few games, with Civilization on top of the pile.

Plus, it looks pretty damned similar to the in-game ship.

Only if you convince Gandhi to stop threatening a nuclear strike.

The developer of the game I've posted has the same name as a GOG game.
