Shadowflight: Got Trespasser the other day, I havent played it yet, but by all accounts it is supposed quite good and a fitting end to the game.
Yep, although it's rather buggy. Really keeping my fingers crossed for one more patch.

Shadowstalker16: They better release this here this time at least..........
Yes, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Wouldn't mind playing the game myself as enjoyed DA: Origins/Awakening, obviously never got onto DA2 due to steamworks or online account requirement.

blotunga: Apparently so. This might be my first EA purchase in a long time, after Dragon Age: Origins...
Eh you might want to skip it and use your money for something better. Like chocolate or going to the movies or making a pile of 60 dollar bills and setting them on fire.

It's less than a year since release, the last DLC released a few weeks ago and they are pushing the "complete edition" out next month.

Because no one is buying this game or its DLCs. Other than the small core fanbase perhaps.

Whether direct or indirect bribery or simply mass insanity was the cause of so many websites giving this game GOTY status we may never know, but at least I can warn you: it did not deserve it.

This game with all DLCs is a disappointment for 20 dollars. Even content-wise. Certainly not story wise.

This is a game that did away with character stats.
This is a game with a console controller interface, using a mouse is just frustrating.
This is a game all about style over substance and the style: console openworld buttonmasher.

.. and in the end, its worst offense is how goddam mediocre it is at everything.

But if you're looking for a waifu, I guess Bioware delivers, because that's what they are. The Waifu Company.
I guess it's become fashionable to bash that game now? All I can say is that I started playing it for the first time recently, and forty hours in I'm still having a blast. Certainly there are things that could have been done better (more unique quests, less "go to five places on the map and click on something." Also, it's not letting me push Vivienne out of her tower window. God, I hate her.), but definitely a very positive experience for me.

Who said that I would pay 60 euros or even dollars for it? I will wait until it's about 5 :). With 60 euros I can eat for a week. Besides, I just got an Xbox 360 controller. I suck at using it, so maybe if a game forces me to use it I might actually get accustomed. So far I tried it with The Witcher 3, but I find it better with M+KB.

No, it's been bashed since the day of release. It's always had a 5.8 user Metacritic score.

Ever. Since. Release.

So fuck you. Like the game or not, is fine. Pretending that it's a fucking fad to mention to the world that DA:I always sucked, which is what a vast majority of users have done since the *day* of release.

But the media cacophony of universal, undeserved praise from IGN, Kotaku and the rest of the sellouts, drowned out a lot of it, but it was a hated game by users from day one. So fuck you.

I wasn't talking to you, but this is certainly a mature and normal way to respond to my post!

Oh wow, you got your knickers in a twist? Take a breather, slow down and let it go.

But the one good thing about opinions is that while everyone has one, they're all valid and correct.

People who start their premise with dumb shit like "I guess it's become fashionable to bash that game now" aren't asking for a mature conversation.
I was actually referring to my region ;D
But that brings up another question. DENUVO. DRM. IS. ON THIS GAME. So if you don't want that little pile of AIDS, you might wanna buy the thing on Origin and hang the 'ole jolly roger..........but I think I'm already infected with MGS 5 so meh.
DA: I was my GOTY of 2014, I haven't played through any of the DLC's yet, but now seems a good time to do so.

I'll buy it this weekend, I've heard a lot of good things about it. I bought Jaws of Hakkon when it launched, but never finished it. Is The Descent any good?

nightcraw1er.488: Hadn't realised I had to provide evidence at each post, will remember this in future, perhaps a disclaimer paragraph as well.
You do realize I'm saying the exact opposite, right? I'm saying that I do assume you do your fact checking, and that you wouldn't (knowingly) post false information.

avatar
nightcraw1er.488: As for the term DRM, yes, perhaps it is no longer inclusive enough with the advances in malpractice over the years. Perhaps we could go with UAB - Untoward Application Behavior.
Sure thing, go ahead. I just said that Denuvo is not DRM, that doesn't mean it cannot be something else.
avatar
Shadowstalker16: DENUVO. DRM. IS. ON THIS GAME.
Sigh. Again, Denuvo is not DRM. Securom, Origin, or whatever else is used for protection is the DRM.

The Descent is pretty mandatory, if you're interested about the dwarven lore and the origins of Lyrium. Also, it has David Hayter voice acting, that alone should make it worth your time :D

To me its more lorey than story, Basically a dungeon crawl where you can pick up some extra bric-a-brac collectibles.

Worth a try if you are unsure and see it on sale and while I find it hard to recommend wholeheartedly, I do like it enough to NOT regret buying it. You can never have too much DA imo :)

Elmofongo: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.882698-Dragon-Age-Inquisition-Game-of-The-Year-Edition-Announced

So EA/Bioware remembers GOTY/Ultimate/Complete editions exist?

Now if only they do this for the entire Mass Effect Trilogy especially 2 and 3 :P
It's about damb time EA released another Ultimate Edition of a BioWare game. I'm still waiting for Ultimate Editions of ME2, ME3, and DA2.
