Hey everyone,

I just recently bought Star Wars: Dark Forces. I started downloading it, but realised a second too late that I hadn't ticked the option to create a desktop shortcut for the game. I decided to abort the download and start it again, seeing as how there was still a ways to go with the download, and now the game is simply stuck on the "aborting" stage.

In the bottom left of the screen, where download progress is shown, it just says "0.0 MB / 0.0 MB (0.0 MB/s). When I click on THAT, a little bar pops up for a second and says "Installing Star Wars: Dark Forces". Underneath THAT, it says (in smaller writing) "Deleting 74 MB).

I'm at a bit of a loss; it doesn't seem like anything I do changes or interrupts the download process. Help would be seriously appreciated!

I;m assuming that you're using GoG Galaxy.

Using your keywords, I did a google search for you:

https://www.google.com/search?q=gog+galaxy+downloading+aborting

And found this post:

Looks like if you try and repair the game instead of installing it, it should fix the issue.

I don;t use Galaxy so someone may need to check me on this.

Hope this helps.
Thanks for the quick reply, drmike! I'll get back to you once I've given it a shot.
