Just ran into this problem myself... How does someone sell a game they don't have and give a solution of "I'll get back to you some time. Can't say when. Trust me, bro"...

Just checked my game as well and ... yay ... serial depleted. Afaik I need the key to even run single player mode. So I am effectively unable to play my DRM-free game bought on a DRM-free store, correct? That's more than shady.

Wth, even for SP mode? Can't remember if I've ever used mine at all (luckily I generated those last year just in case), but then again, I use a source port.

Have you tried to run the game data through https://dhewm3.org?

This might work but I don't consider this to be a solution. I copudl as well use a crack to lauch purchased game but this is not the way it is supposed to be.

I thought the point was to be able to play the game. To me it would be like using DXX-Rebirth for Descent and GZDoom for Doom to have support for newer systems and widescreen, among others, but I do see your point.

This issue is still not fixed.

People who have bought Quake 3, Quake 4 or Doom 3 should probably check whether they got the message "Serial keys depleted".

For Doom 3 just use a source port (eg. dhewm3 which you can get from Github). No key is required if you have legit game files from GOG, and you get extra features anyway (widescreen, gamepad support, etc.)

I had the "serial keys depleted" message for Doom 3, Quake 3 and Quake 4. Checked just now and I have keys for all of them.

Weird. Only the base key is displayed in my library. I was told that it is my fault since I looked at the dialog when the keys were depleted.
