I bought the game from greenmangaming and got doom 3 bfg edition for free but I don't know even if i want to play it after that new one because it totally doesn't suck.

Edit: Well the multiplayer kinda sucks but i'm a simple man.. ^^

Green man gave 3 for free with it? the F i did not get 3 with my steam copy LOL damn son I am sad now :(
It's downloading right now. Should be done by tomorrow, because apparently 40+ gigabytes is how games roll nowadays and my internet sucks.

A lot of people are raving about it. Hoping it's fun. Also hoping it's not just an arena shooter.
Also apparently this is the alternate cover:

Yet for some reason they decided to go with Low Rent Master Cieft Knockoff Guy staring at the camera. wat

You got wolf old blood if pre-ordered.. I have it also I played wolf new order it wasn't bad but my impressions are that this doom is better. Still blasckowish is cool even in bad games. =D
Infact i liked the story of woldenstein new order which doom lack but it's for the better in this case

Edit: minus of those typos. But who actually can write blaskowich? =) ..there were others but that's star wars talk.

Well, the classic Doom is never dead.

Zandronum + Russian Overkill (weapon mod) + Chillax (map mod) = some serious fun.

Instead of Russian Overkill, for more "realistic" experience, "Real Guns Advanced 2 Refined" mod is exceptionally fun.

Oh shit, good thing I didn't get it. I like to think of that kind of DRM like I think of McDonalds' hamburgers: if the bacteria (pirates in this case I guess) can't touch it, it's probably not safe for me to touch it.

Edit: I finished Wolf New Order yesterday and loved it. My biggest issue was the checkpoint system, not because they were poorly placed (didn't have much trouble on Uber as long as I didn't do stupid stuff), but because of the collectibles. Drove my OCD insane and having to sit there with a guide really detracted from the experience. Other than that I loved the combat, gunplay was just where it needed to be.

I really wanna know did Bethesda's gtx1080 Doom demo contain denuvo, because it surely would drop fps

Last time I played Rise of Tomb Raider with ultra settings it went 60 fps stable. What kind of fps drop again? If you have toaster or potato rig then don't blame it on DRM, but blame on your incapability of building decent rig.

Well you know, there's fine line between spouting bullshit and stating fact. That statement of yours, sadly, is the former.

you missed the point, sure game runs 60 fps with denuvo. but it WOULD run better w/o it -because denuvo is virtual machine - so some resources ARE wasted, maybe its not critical for you but people with weaker pc would be able to get better fps

so you tell people to blame themselves because unnecessary resources are wasted to ensure they wont torrent shit, nice

Why Bethesda did not send review copies of Doom to game websites? Still nothing on GameRankings and Metacritic.

Obviously - because they can, ubisoft style.
Likely they were feared after multyplayer beta fiasco

So is it a marketing strategy?
DEWM (and no, I won't even call it "Doom 2016" because I hate this naming trend) is awesome.

Just finished the 12-hour campaign, and I still feel like replaying it. They nailed on absolutely everything I hoped for - so-so story that was made a little awesome with Doomguy's no giving shit on everything, relentless non-stop action, secrets (and they're gloriously fan-servicey) and the platforming segments were really fun.

Still have to give snapmap and multiplayer (which I found mediocre at best during beta) a proper go.
