[SOLVED] Unfortunately I can't mark my own post as solved. =P

I posted in the official game forum, but that can take forever sometimes to get a response. I'll link it here so feel free to respond to that post for those who search in the future.

Someone already answered the question in the DAO game forum page. The short answer was no. So the older version does need the 4GB patch from one of the following web sites: ntcore or techpower or Nexus
