I recently had to re-install my operating system (Win 10).

When I re-installed GOG Galaxy and logged back in, all my games were still there, except my manually specified executable files were no longer linked. I had a large number of them so it was frustrating to need to go through one-by-one to re-link them all.

I thought the executable paths might be saved in some sort of config file I might be able to backup, but I am unable to find one. Does anyone know if such a file exists? Or is there another way to back this information up?

I appreciate your help!

As far as I can tell, this data is stored in
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\galaxy-2.0.db

If you back up the following folders, you should have every scrap of data GOG Galaxy saves:
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\
%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\
<Your "Documents" folder>\GOG Galaxy\

The first two paths can be typed directly into the File Explorer address bar. You have to find the last one manually, since there's no environment variable for the Documents folder. If you want to browse to these locations, you'll want to enable showing hidden and protected OS files.

You should use the GOG GALAXY 2.0 forum for future posts about GOG Galaxy.

Looks like that works!
Thank you very much for your help.
Sorry for using the wrong forum. I will make sure to use the correct one in the future.

Unless you use the power of DOUBLE DOTS!!! Seems appdata points to 'appdata/roaming', using that logic:

Behold! "%appdata%\..\..\My Documents" will point to your my documents folder, as such "%appdata%\..\..\My Documents\GOG Galaxy" will point to your galaxy folder.
