snowkatt: i thought they got more then enough moolah from their sweet sweet merchandising
dunno how i feel about a streaming service from them

or more to the point
yet another damn log in
and will they actually bring a decent selection outside the uk ?

bbc first is rather dire

nightcraw1er.488: Never really bother with BBC outside UK, even when I am off for work, I login and get adverts all over it. So I can agree that the international BBC isn't great. Internally however we get endless greats such as cooking programs, celebrity xyz, and dance shows [/sarcasm]. To be fair though, there have been a few good series recently, Jonathon Strange and Mr Norell, for instance.
uurrgh
same what we get really just repackaged ( there are 63 masterchef shows 63 !!! )

but let me illustrate how dire bbc first is
this is todays line up:

new tricks
death in paradise
death in paradise
father brown
new tricks
new tricks
death in paradise
father brown
new tricks
death in paradise ( for fucks sake ! )
silent witness ( oh hey something different )
london spy
silent witness
silent witness
father brown ( rgh ! )

if the bbc is going to offer streaming i hope their international line up will be better then that there is only so much repeats i can take
The Disappearance of Dr. Who? O.o Sounds like something I'd definitely watch!

Dr. Who is over rated.

Tell me about it, can't stand cookery programs, I meant they just heat things up for crying out loud.
"Here is your goose fillet, lightly air fried by a pigs fart"
Or if you want to pay 3 * more for the above:
"Here is your oie filet, légèrement frits air par un pet de porcs"

Good grief I hate cookery programs.

Popcorn is even more overrated, I had some a few weeks ago whilst watching the new SW film, £5 for some cardboard with sugar all over it.

Damn, I wish they would sell sweat popcorn in the cinemas here. All they have is the 10x times oversalted popcorn.

Dude, I hope that's a typo :o)
I hope that Capaldi stays on for a while under the next producer.
Capaldi was meh. The best episodes were generally the ones he wasn't involved much in for various reasons. DR. Who turned into a semi Sci-fi horror mystery for a bit and the shows got VERY formulaic. Capaldi feels like a poor man's Hugh Laurie for much of his performances, which is sad because I actually wanted to see Laurie as the Doctor. :P
