So I have been working more or less the last 6 years on this fantasy novel. I did all the artwork by hand (yes it is simple) and finally for my 30th birthday I finally finished up everything!

My book is available as an ebook (Kindle) OR as a physical paper back. It is my first one and I hope that you enjoy the world I have created!

I came up with the inspiration for my book from always loving magical fantasy stories. Games like Myst, Zelda, Metroid , Dear Esther all inspired me to write. My grandmother who passed away this Feb, never got the chance to see my book and she always loved fantasy and mystery novels. She encouraged me to always write, no matter how simple it was. (She was born handicapped, only one arm and no legs) She told me no matter what life gives you, just do what makes you happy.

So here is to 30 years, my first book published and hope you all like it!

CONGRATS on publishing your book! Maybe when the sale is over, you could bump the thread, as not sure how many saw this with all the games that are discounted.

How were you able to publish this? There are other authors on the forum, and I am always amazed at how people can get their books in print.

Thank you so much! I published it on my own via Kindle first, formatted it all on my own. I did the print version using CreateSpace, they handled the paper back version for me, and I did get an author copy, and it looks great!

Thank you so much! It has taken me 6 years of brainstorming, artwork, writing, editing etc. Getting everything done took time, but I am VERY happy with the results!

Thank you so much! My partner read the book, and he liked it. He isn't into fantasy or magic books, but he did say it drew him in, and he couldn't put the book down until he finished it.


I hope other people like the book and review it :)
