onarliog: I want to say Ukyo Tachibana badly, but I guess he is not a lowly ninja.

The runner up: I was a big fan of the nameless ninja of Shadow Dancer (and his dog!) as a kid. I think that was the coolest ninja in all of the Shinobi games.

I love how his jump create a big cool curve, followed by fancy slashing and wall climbing

You can't just take ninjas lightly, you need to consider all aspects of the way of the shinobi. For example, do you focus on genjutsu and ninjutsu? Or do you focus on information gathering and intelligence? Or maybe your just a straight up in your face violence type ninja like Ryu Hayabusa. Does your ninja have cybernetic upgrades?

These are important questions.
