A fighter who can cast healing spells. You know, like the ones in Bard's Tale 2.

Wait a minute...

(For anyone who doesn't get the joke: Paladins in the Bard's Tale trilogy are not spellcasters; they're just Warriors wit a save bonus and some minor equipment differences.)
nah paladin is the ones going on crusades to take back the holy lands

I’m thinking Chaotic Neutral in D&D terms. :)
I'm thinking of this Video Watch that video and listen to what the man with the modified voice says!

Problem - reaction - solution

1. Recognize the evil
2. Exploit their intentions
3. Destroy the threat
4. Maintain vigilance
5. Develop Situational Awareness

It's a reference to an old Ultima 9 line, and also a YTer who made it famous on YT and elsewhere.
Evil is good perverted. Many large scale acts of evil from history started out as ways to address wrongs or problems. Can one hate evil? I think you can hate evil acts, as for evil itself you have to recognize it exists and be vigilant against it from others and especially from oneself. If your not careful, instead of getting rid of evil you'll just replace it with another. The devil has many faces some of which look good at first. Allow for self reflection, compassion, study of the holy word (for those religiously inclined) and sound reasoning to help guide you. Try not to become narrow minded.

One light hearted pro tip: Asshole's aren't equal to evil (at least not always).

and Happy New Years everyone!

Green_Hilltop: Poll.: Yes or No
Were you going somewhere with this?
The greatest problem with wanting to fight evil...

... is that most wanting to actively fight...

... have the least perspective...

... and...

... are therefore easily manipulated.

I know many young people who feel they are fighting a righteous battle against evil, but they are actually fighting the good. They are profoundly mistaken. Yet they will not listen if you try to explain their mistake. In fact, if you try to illustrate the problem, they brand you evil as well.

So, IMO the biggest problem with wanting to fight evil is perspective. One needs to have perspective to see what is really evil -- opposed to what is labeled "evil" by parties with potentially hidden motives.
