So years ago when I was still a wee young tween of between 11 to 13 I remember playing this game on my dad's PC all the time (Well, it's the only game it can run). The view is top down, it was played in semi real time with turn based element and the units are either simple graphics or even just simple line arts for the soldier units. But the map is pretty good and the building can actually be destroyed by tank or artillery shots. The best part is the short cutscenes taken from black and white war documentary videos appearing on the bottom left when my unit went into action. So a scene of tank firing a shot, or someone using a mortar launcher, or flamethrower soldier spouting fire.

Since the game is pretty obscure, is it possible for GOG to re release this game here? I don't know how many of you actually play this game as well. But it was one of my first PC game (at that time I'm also a Sega Genesis nerd) and what make me love war games.

90s, early 90s. I remember the audio when you fired off artillery...

"Incoming!"

Didn't really get into it but it was fun to mess around on it.
Only 13 upvotes so far. Kinda sad but yeah it doesn't blow too many mind when it came out.

I wish GOG make a feature called "GOG Mini" where they ported obscure not well known vaporwares, deadwares and miniwares into cheap game release. There's too many old games not included into GOG library

Yeah, my favourite thing to do is to buy a bunch of Wirblewind (the German tank with 4 huge machine guns attached for AA and Anti Infantry) and make it face a ton of infantry and they easily mow down those infantries to nothing.

Mostly because of publishing issues or copyright ones. A classic like "Mafia 1" was unavailable for digital purchase for years in any store (until GOG brought it back in 2017). But even though it's on sale again it lacks the original music score by Django Reinhardt, which you have to download from other sources.
