No further account progress wipes are planned, but — since GWENT is still in the beta stage of development — however unlikely, wipes are technically still possible. If we need to reset your beta progress, we will inform about that in advance.

And then the servers get shutdown for whatever reason, and you realise that you just burned a truckload of money.... Owning a complete game for offline enjoyment is so last decade.Welcome to the future of gaming ;).Cheers

You don't have to buy anything. Gwent can be played pretty well for free. Besides buying kegs won't guarantee good cards.
