I didnt use gog galaxy to install the game but downloaded all the files (offline game installers). last week a patch has been released for the game + another hot fix 2 days ago. i cant find those updates on gog (offline installer files). am i missing something? how do i get those patches? thanks a lor for any kind of constructive feedback!

GOG usually includes patches as separate downloads so you need to wait.

Sometimes they are very lazy - I waited over two weeks to patch my Darkest Dungeon.

Non-Galaxy patching for DOS2 has been an absolutely mess. For a while they were putting up only the latest version to version patch, so if patches came out quickly and you missed one you'd need to either find it from a third-party source or download the entire installer again. Currently they don't even seem to be making patches available, but just uploading new versions of the installer, so if you're not using Galaxy you have to download the entire 40 GB installer any time you want to patch the game.

Currently, unless you plan on using Galaxy, I'd recommend waiting on buying any new game until it reaches a stable state without frequent patches... or just buy the game from somewhere other than GOG.

Maybe you can check if the patches are there by using Galaxy?
