this is shown as on sale in the store "on sale" section but it's not on sale. i would like to buy this. what's going on?

This game has been "on sale" for months, even when it wasn't on sale. My guess is that either a glitch is responsible for this or there is only a distinct combination of products you have to buy to get a discount. Most likely the former.
